MIGUEL LORENZI My work aims to enhance our understanding of fisheries systems and promote the sustainability of oceans, marine species, fisheries, and fishing communities. My research aims to answer the question: How is the architecture of the fishing fleet are changing due to socio, economic and environmental drivers? Moreover, looking at architectural features and technology on fishing boats through a technological perspective can provide important information to address their implications for the fisheries governance, the resilience of fishing communities to climate change effects, and to the ocean conservation and sustainable use of marine resources.
